Obituaries

ALMONACID, Pablo, devoted and loving husband and father, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on November 17, 2022. Born and raised in Peru, Pablo has lived a remarkable life and will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have known him. Some of the characteristics that embodied him were hard working, dedicated, responsible, generous, kind, friendly, caring and very loving.

Pablo is a true example that hard work pays off. Born in a place with very few opportunities, Pablo decided to put a lot of work and dedication into accomplishing his dreams, to provide a comfortable life for his family and to help others along the way. He worked as an electrical mechanical engineer in Peru for 10 years, then he became an entrepreneur and started his textile company. In one of the many businesses trips he took to the USA, he came to Boston, where many of his family members were living, and he decided to stay; in a place with many opportunities for his family. Pablo always thought about his family, and giving back.

In Boston, he worked in a construction company for approximately 10 years, and then became an entrepreneur again, this time with a construction company.

He was admired by many for his broad knowledge in many topics. He emphasized the importance of education and hard work, giving himself as an example of how having an education and working hard changed his life for the better. He inspired and advised many others to do the same. He cared for others. He wanted everyone to have a better life.

Pablo touched the lives of many people. His warm and inviting smile was a magnet to many. He was friendly and he sincerely cared for the well-being of others too. Although he is not physically here with us, he will forever be in our hearts, and this is not a good-bye, it is a see you later. During his courageous battle with cancer, his spiritual life deepened and he accepted Christ as his savior. It was evident towards the end of his life that his relationship with God grew, and God gave him a dream that it was his time to go, and that everything will be alright.

Pablo was the beloved husband of Dora (Davila) Almonacid. Loving father of Jacqueline, Giovanna, Veronica and Diana Almonacid. Devoted brother of Silverio, Florencia, and Norma Almonacid, and the late Hemenegildo, Aquila, and Dina Almonacid. Also survived by his grandchildren; Aiden, Valeria, Samantha, Mathias, and Alyssa.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period on Friday, November 25th from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 68 So. Franklin St. (RT. 37), Holbrook. A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM in the Funeral Home. Burial in St. Michael Cemetery, Avon.
