HOWARD, Catherine A. (Walsh), “Kay”, Age 89 has lovingly passed on into the hands of God on October 25, 2022, in Weymouth, MA. Born and raised in Boston, Kay graduated from the Jeremiah E. Burke High School. She spent 36 years at John Hancock Insurance Company, in the Dividends and Commissions Department. A devoted wife, daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Kay will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have known her. Kay was the wife of the late John S. “Mitty” Howard. Daughter of the late Michael and Catherine (Burke) Walsh. Sister of the late Michael “Eddie” and Patricia M.. Also survived by her Nieces, Christina Flaherty of Georgetown, Patricia A Feeney of Braintree with whom she resided, Eileen Sarchioni and her husband Bernard of Cambridge, Kathleen Tinkham of Weymouth, Karen Feeney Shadley and her husband Paul of Hanson and her Grandnieces and nephews Brad Sarchioni, Aine Healy and her husband Paul, Tara Crispin and her spouse Sarah, Matthew Feeney, Ryan and Andrew Tinkham, and James, Jamela and Nicholas Feeney. Great Grand Aunt to Cian, Coleman, Charlotte, Jaidah, Liam, Leona, Roman, Ryan E., Zachariah, Christopher, and many loving family and friends. Predeceased by her beloved Nephew, Michael T. Feeney 2011 (Survived by his wife Sheri of Weymouth). Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period on Thursday, November 3rd, from 8:30 – 9:30 AM in the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., Braintree. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 850 Washington St., Braintree. Burial will follow in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
