NAVEDO, Genoveva of Randolph formerly of Puerto Rico October 26th, at the age of 96. Genoveva was born in Puerto Rico and moved to New York in her twenties She was married to the late Jose González for over 52 years. She and her husband moved back to Puerto Rico in 1963 and in 2007 she moved to Randolph. Genoveva or Beba as everyone called her, lived a very active life. She volunteered at the Randolph Food Pantry for over 10 years. She loved to sew and make jewelry especially for the grand and great-grand kids. Cooking was her passion and she loved watching others enjoying her food. Loving mother of Vilma González of Randolph and Dr. Edwin González of Lake City, FL. She was one of 14 siblings and now survived only by sister Maria Torres of Miami FL. Beba leaves us her 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Beba had many passions and one was about the children born with cleft conditions. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to the “Operation Smile” organization. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home 419 N. Main St. (RT28) Randolph on Wednesday. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period Wednesday morning from 8:30 – 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10am in St. Mary Church 211 N. Main St. (RT28) Randolph with burial at St. Mary Cemetery Randolph.
