He is also survived by his grandchildren, Sharon Jackson and her husband Gregory M. Jackson of Attleboro and Gregory E. Kerwin of Georgia. In addition, his great-grandson whom he adored, Aaden C. Jackson, nieces and nephews Alison Campbell, Janet Heller and Mark Wright, as well as many loving great and great grand nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother William W. Wright II and his nephews Denis Campbell and William W. Wright III.
Cyril was born on May 1, 1926 in Boston, Massachusetts to Ardis Lee Parkhurst and William Wesley Wright. After graduating from Boston English High School, he proudly served in the U.S. Army during World War II. On his return, he enrolled in Boston University for two years before working in his father’s dry-cleaning business. In the late 1960’s Cyril started a rewarding and successful career as a banker with Bank Boston, retiring from the Prudential Center Branch. Cyril was a much loved and very active member of Trinity Church in Randolph. To the end, he was known for his good company, sharp mind, love of animals, fondness of Boston Sports and quiet humor.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday November 3rd at Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 N. Main St. Visitation will be prior to the service from 11am-12pm and service will begin at 12pm. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Boston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Cyril’s honor to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).
