COLETTI, Francis J. “Frank”, Jr., longtime resident of Holbrook, passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, on October 22, 2022, at the age of 75. Born in Boston, Frank grew up in Holbrook and attend Holbrook schools and graduated from Weymouth Vocational High School. He then went on to earn his Associate’s Degree in Business Management from Newbury Junior College. Frank proudly served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War and retired as a Chief Petty Officer after 20 years in the Naval Reserves. Frank had a 25 year distinguished career with the MBTA, retiring as the Manager of Automotive Equipment Engineering. He then began a second career as the Chief Investigator of Vehicle Safety and Compliance Service with the Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles, retiring after 10 years of service. In his free time, Frank enjoyed kayaking and could often be found on the local lakes and rivers of the South Shore. He also enjoyed reading, however, spending time with his family and friends is what brought him the most joy. A devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend, Frank will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have known him. Frank was the beloved husband of Judith (Bulman) Coletti. Loving father of Lisa Busby and her husband Michael of Kingston, James Coletti of Whitman and the late John F. Coletti and his wife Jennifer Coletti of Norton. Devoted brother of Felicia Monahan of Sandwich. Cherished “Pappy” to Alicia, Taylor and Miranda Coletti, Sarah and Christopher Busby and John Coletti and great grandfather to Aubrey Phillips. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, October 28th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 68 So. Franklin St. (RT 37), Holbrook. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 29th at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Church, 153 So. Franklin St., Holbrook. Burial will follow with Military Honors in Union Cemetery, Holbrook.
