RAPOZA, Thomas D. “Tom” "Tommy", of Holbrook, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on October 18, 2022, at the age of77. Born in Fall River, Tom grew up in Westport and graduated from Westport High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Tom worked for many years as a Chef in the V.A. Tom was an all around great guy, who had a great sense humor and loved spending time with his family and friends. He was a movie buff and was an avid reader who enjoyed science fiction books. In his free time, Tom enjoyed woodworking, building bird houses and making yard art. He also took pride in his truck and enjoyed long rides in his Chevy S10 pick up truck. A devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend, Tom will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known him. Tom was the beloved husband of Marion (Woodman) Rapoza. Loving father of Coleen Rapoza of Marshfield and Christine Vitale-Lynch and her husband Michael of So. Weymouth. Devoted brother of Claudia Costa of FL and Geraldine Pereira of SC. Cherished Grampa to Alexis Rapoza. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, October 25th, from 5:00 – 8:00 PM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 68 So. Franklin St (RT. 37), Holbrook. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, October 26th, at 10:00 AM in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wendell Cemetery, Holbrook.
