JAMESON, Dorothy P. “Dottie”, lifelong resident of Holbrook, passed away peacefully, after a long illness, on May 20, 2022, at the age of 65. Born in Boston, Dottie grew up in Holbrook and graduated from Archbishop William High School, Class of 1975. She was a retired mail handler for the United States Postal Service, working out of the So. Boston postal annex, for over 30 years. In her free time, she enjoyed traveling, doing crossword puzzles and attending high school baseball games, however, spending time with her family and friends is what brought her the most joy. A devoted daughter, sister, aunt, godmother and friend, Dorothy will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have known her. Dorothy was the daughter of the late George and Florence (Dykes) Jameson. Devoted sister of George Jameson, Jr. and his wife Claire of Auburn, Florence “Honey” Jameson of Holbrook and Barbara Jameson of Holbrook. Loving companion of Michael Nelson of Malden. Cherished aunt of Erin Tower and her husband Dustin and their children, Jacob and Jonathan Tower, Cara Jameson, Meghan Jameson and Sean Jameson. Dear godmother to Ryan Lieb. Best friend of Gina Lieb and her family of PA. Also survived by many cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, May 26th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 So. Franklin St. (RT. 37), Holbrook. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 27th at 12:30 PM in St. Joseph Church, 153 So. Franklin St., Holbrook. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph.
