Obituaries
Born on Dec. 29, 1929, he was the son of Frank and Amelia Paulauski. He was predeceased by his sister Emily Lehman and brother Joe. He graduated Miramar High School in Duxbury, MA and continued onto college at the Seminary of Society of the Devine Word in Chicago, IL and their SVD Seminary in Techny, IL. From 1947-1954. Followed by St. John’s Seminary in Brighton 1957-1958. The first parish John was assigned to was St. Michael’s in Hudson, MA 1958-1964 where he worked with the youth of the parish. He organized the sports and music programs in the school system and did fund raising to help support all these activities, also learned Portuguese for those that didn’t speak English. He then transferred to St. Casmir’s in Brockton, MA and attended to the needs of the Lithuanian speaking parishioners. John applied for a dispensation of his vows and was granted, he then married in May 14, 1967 with the blessing of the church. John worked as a Jr. High School Science Teacher in the Winthrop school system where he was well-liked and respected until he retired. His heart had no boundaries and he valued his relationships with people from all walks of life. He believed in self-reliance and it brought him great joy to teach those around him. John enjoyed life to its fullest had many hobbies and loved fishing, hiking, canoeing, swimming, camping, tending to garden and pool, enjoyed cruising and bus tours through many countries. He is survived by his loving wife Geraldine (Andziulewicz) Paulauski of 55 years and his daughters Joanne Masek, Judie Paulauski and Jennifer Reneyske his son-in-law Michael Reneyske, grandchildren Daniel, Andrew, Leah and Scotty Masek, sister-in-law Linda Palmer, brother-in-law John Palmer and James Andziulewicz, nieces Kristin LeBlanc, Amy Strecker, Tara Palmer, Mary Paulauski of CO and Nephews Joshua Palmer and John Paulauski of Japan and many more family and friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period on Wednesday, April 20th, from 9:00 – 11:00 AM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph. A Funeral Service will follow at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home officiated by Fr. Phil McGaugh. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph.
