Manuel emigrated to the United States in 1966 searching for a better life for his family. He settled in Dorchester where he was a Sheet Metal Worker for twenty-five years. He enjoyed bowling, playing poker with his family and entertaining friends in his home. He was an avid fan of the Bruins and Celtics and never missed a World Cup Soccer game. But his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
