MORISSET, Louis Rene, of Randolph, passed away suddenly on January 1, 2022, at the age of 71. “Coach” as he was affectionately called, was born and raised in Mirebalais, Haiti. A talented soccer player and a die-hard Boston Celtics superfan.

After graduating High School in Haiti, Coach started his first business as a tailor designing men’s clothing. A few years later he got a job with Electricite D’Haiti (EDH) working as a field electrician. After several years with EDH, he started his second successful Lottery business. Within that time period Coach met Marie Montas his first love and fathered her two oldest children Francois & Merlie Morisset.

In 1979 when Merlie was two months old, Coach moved to the United States and landed in Boston, Massachusetts where he worked at an iron factory until 1986 and he then left to become a Boston Public School bus driver. Coach loved his job and was loved by his colleagues. During his time as a school bus driver for Boston Public, he helped employ and mentor well over 150 employees. He passed on retirement to continue working until his last breath on Jan 1, 2022. While at Boston Public he met Marie C. Benjamin who went on to be his life companion and the mother of his two youngest children Darren Morisset and Kenny Dubuisson.

Coach was a well-mannered individual who loved his family, especially his children. He worked very hard to reach his goals in life and to support his family. Coach was a great father to his surviving firstborn Francois Morisset, his only daughter Merlie Morisset, and his youngest sons Darren Morisset and Kenny Dubuisson, he was a great grandfather to Angelica Morisset. He was a wonderful brother to his surviving siblings Madeleine and Evelyne Morisset, and of course the best uncle to his countless nieces and nephews.

Coach always sought out to make people laugh. He enjoyed helping others; he always wanted to make sure people were treated fair. He valued life and never took it for granted. Coach used to always say and live by these words

“Fait Bien” translates to English “Do Good”

He will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have known him.
