PETERSON, Julie A. (Peterson), of Randolph, formerly of Dorchester, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on January 11th, 2022, at the age of 59. Julie was born in Cambridge and raised in Dorchester. She graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Weymouth. Julie was extremely involved in the Randolph community, from coaching Randolph Youth Soccer to working at the Lyons and J.F.K. elementary schools. She enjoyed spending time in Plymouth, loved camping at Ellis Haven and being at the beach. Julie lived life to the fullest; enjoying every moment she could and spreading her infectious laugh with all. She cherished and loved her family; they were her world and are her wonderful legacy that will continue on through them. Julie was the definition of #PetersonStrong. She was a caring, giving and loving woman who will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have known her. Loving wife of her high school sweetheart of 43 years, Greg Peterson. Loving mother of Amanda Whynott and her husband Michael of Marion, Scott Peterson and his wife Paige of Taunton, Kristen Forte and her husband Andrew of Norton and Emily Peterson and her boyfriend Michael Nosky of Randolph. Cherished “Grandma” of Olivia Whynott and soon to be baby boy Peterson. Dear daughter of Alan and Barbara (Williams) Peterson. Devoted sister of Susan Peterson of Randolph, aunt of Lauren Healey and her husband Taylor and great-aunt “JuJu” of Madison and Chloe of Fitchburg. Devoted sister of David Peterson and his wife Michelle, and aunt of Kailey Peterson of Randolph. Devoted sister of the late Scott Peterson. Julie is survived by her beloved dog Shelby, extended family and life long friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Monday, January 17th, from 4:00 – 8:00 PM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 North Main St. (RT. 28), Randolph. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, January 18th, at 10:00 AM in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
