SHEEHAN, Gerard F. "Jerry", 88, of Quincy, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2021. Gerard was born to the late Anastasia (McDermott) and Henry Sheehan and raised in Avon. Jerry was the loving father of Dennis M. Sheehan of Deerfield Beach FL, Karen Boyle and her husband John of Middleboro, Kellie Nardini and husband Allan of Sandwich. He was "Grandpa" to his four granddaughters, Meaghan Boyle, Danielle (Boyle) Brigham and her husband Michael, Amanda and Maggie Nardini; and his great-grandchild Jamie Lee Brigham. One of four brothers, Jerry was predeceased by his brothers Patrick, John and Robert. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Jerry was a United States Army Veteran and served during the Korean War. He worked as an electrician at MIT for 24 years, before retiring in 1996. Jerry loved retirement and loved to travel. He traveled all over the United States and abroad, documenting and photographing all of his adventures. Jerry loved to play golf and kept fit going to the gym, and then for walks in his later years. Sharp as a tack, he would read Barron's magazine and watch the stock market daily. A friend of Bill W. and a spiritual man, Jerry's best friend was Jesus Christ. The family will have a private service to celebrate his life. Burial will take place in St. Michael Cemetery, Avon.
