DIMARTINIS, Christine M. (Kracunas), of Norwell, formerly of Braintree, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on December 10, 2021, at the age of 56. Beloved wife of David DiMartinis. Loving mother of Julia, Christopher and Maria DiMartinis, all of Norwell. Dear daughter of Joseph and Helen (Uzdavinis) Kracunas. Devoted sister of Joseph Kracunas, Jr. and his wife Deborah of Topsfield, Edward Kracunas and his wife Annmarie of Hingham and Richard Kracunas and his wife Belinda of Cohasset. Christine is also survived by many in-laws, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Born in Quincy, Christine was raised and educated in Braintree, first at the St. Francis of Assisi Parish school and then at Braintree High School. She went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. Most recently, she worked as the Director of Global Marketing at a medical device manufacturer. In the middle of her career, she took several years off to raise her three children. Christine’s greatest passion was being a mother to her family. Christine was a woman of great faith; she was always active in her local parish, St. Francis of Assisi in Braintree and later at St. Helen’s in Norwell. She was a religious education teacher for several years and involved in the parish council for both churches. Christine loved the beach and being at the ocean, as well as vacationing at the lakes of New Hampshire since early childhood. She adored her three children and cherished the close relationship she had with her nieces and nephews. Christine was a kind, loving woman, a role model for strength and resilience and a mentor to whom everyone turned for advice. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to have known her.
