DESIR, Pierre, was born in Petionville, Haiti on May 15, 1928, by his mother Angela Thomas and father Mondesir Desir. Pierre was a devoted husband to his wife, Prima Desir, and a loving father to his nine children: Alice, Sergo, Madeline, Yves, Marie, Frantz, Joceline, Michele and Samuel and an amazing grandfather to numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Pierre worked at the Plaza Hotel in Port -au-Prince Haiti for over 40 years as a phenomenal chef. He later resided in Massachusetts with his daughter, Marie and wife, Prima, for more than 25 years. He was a kind and gentle soul that treated everyone with respect. He was also the most well-dressed man you’ll ever come across. He took pride in his appearance and always greeted everyone with a smile and friendly hello.

Pierre was a man of God who lived life according to the Word of God. His quietness and his confidence were his strength, and he was always grateful for anything, whether big or small, that you did for him. He was an incredible man, and he will be missed dearly.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period on Friday, December 17th from 10:00 - 11:00 AM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St., Randolph.
