On August 25th, 2021, the world lost a beloved mother, a cherished friend, and an exemplary woman. Christine Davis, or “D” as she was known to her friends and family, passed away suddenly after a long illness.
Daughter of the late Ann Claire and Russell Davis, Christine is survived by her cherished sons Connor and Brendan Pitts, Brother Russ Davis, Niece Elizabeth, and many Friends.
A graduate of Braintree High School Class of 1992, Christine devoted her life to her children, and chose to spend her free time working in animal shelters. A long-time resident of Rhode Island, Christine selflessly returned to Braintree in 2014 to care for her ailing mother in her final year, later returning to Rhode Island to be near her sons again. A lover of horror movies, NKOTB, the ocean, spicy food, furry animals, and all the ridiculous things encountered in life that make it worth living.
We are all diminished by her loss, but take solace in the fact that she is at peace and no doubt out “Kaloopin’” with her mother again in the hereafter.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period of Wednesday, September 8th, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM immediately followed by a service at 7:00 PM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 S. Franklin St., Holbrook. Family and friends are encouraged to attend.
In lieu of flowers, please consider honoring D’s memory and life by donating to your local animal shelter, sharing a ridiculously bad horror movie that you found at 2:00 AM with a loved one, eating food spiced to an irresponsible degree, defending a boy band of your choosing, and above all else - always taking the time to splash in a puddle or two and enjoy every minute of your life.
