DAVY, Frances C. (Maldero) , of Holbrook, passed away peacefully, on August 17, 2021, at age 91. She was the loving wife of the late Ernest Davy. Born in Boston on September 10, 1929 to the late Vito and Stephana Maldero, Frances grew up in the North End and attended Boston Schools. One of nine children, Frances was a sweet, gentle soul who lived her life with poise and dignity. She worked as a Seamstress from a young age until retirement. She was self-sufficient, never wanting to impose on anyone or put people out of their way. She loved spending time with her family, going to the casino, doing craft projects, traveling, going out to lunch and dinner and spending hours on the phone catching up with her sisters. Frances had a great sense of humor with a big smile that would light up a room.

Frances is survived by her sisters; Nancy Colluccini of Peabody and Phyllis Barone of Florida. She was predeceased by her siblings; Mary DiNino, Louis Maldero, Josephine Donnaruma, Vito Maldero,Jr., Anna Milne and Anthony Maldero. She will be sorely missed by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, especially Bernadette MacLean and William Milne and family, who lovingly took care of her through the years.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a visitation on Tuesday, August 24th at Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 So. Franklin St., Holbrook, from 9:00AM 10:00AM. A Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30AM at St. Clare Parish, 1244 Liberty St., Braintree. Burial will take place at the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Connery St., Bourne at 1:30.
