A graduate of Philippine Women University and worked as an Executive Assistant for Research Division at International Institute of Rural Reconstruction (IIRR) for 20 years before migrating to the U.S.
She was a religious, strong, kindhearted woman who always had a smile on her face. She relished the opportunity to help raise her grandchildren and spend time with family and friends. A devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Lourdes will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known her. Lourdes was the loving mother of Joy Johnson and her husband Tim of Randolph and Jenny Acosta and her husband Robert of the Philippines. Cherished “Mama” to Brian and his wife Michelle, Timmy and Kelly and “Great Mama” to Marin Lourdes. Also survived by her beloved dog “Fluffy” and many other family and friends in the Philippines and across the United States.
