MILCH, Myles F., of Randolph, formerly of Mattapan, passed away peacefully, after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family, on July 24, 2021, at the age 96. Born in Boston, Myles graduated from Hyde Park High School. He then went on to proudly serve his country in the United States Navy during WWII, where he was awarded, several commendations including the WWII Victory Medal. Upon his return from the military, Myles joined the Boston Fire Department. He served for over 20 years and retired from Engine 42, Ladder 30 in Roxbury. A devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, Myles will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have known him. Myles was the beloved husband of Rita (Owens) Milch. Loving father of Myles Milch, Jr. and his wife Bernice of Abington, Rita Ayers and her husband Stephen of Randolph, Lois Dwyer and her husband Fred of Hanson, Joseph Milch of Randolph, Hope Corbett of Randolph, Amy Matson of Whitman and the late Susan Garvey. Devoted brother of Carol Gross of NC. Cherished “Grampa” to Myles P. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, July 29th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (RT. 28), Randolph. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 30th at 10:00 AM in St. Mary Church, 211 No. Main St., Randolph. Burial will follow in Central Cemetery, Randolph.
