CAMPBELL, Edward J., Born in Boston, a lifelong Holbrook resident passed away June 28th, 2021 at the age of 64. He is survived by his brother, George J. Campbell of Holbrook, his nieces Kristan and Sarah Campbell, along with his nephew Eric Campbell and great nephew Cameron Campbell. Ed was predeceased by his loving mother, Mildred M. Campbell. Ed was a lifelong Boston sports fan. Along with his love of Boston sports, Ed also loved “The Boss” Bruce Springsteen (Ed would say he was Bruce’s number one fan, a tough point to argue). He travelled across the U.S to see Bruce on several occasions and even made a trip across the pond to see him perform in Europe. Ed was also a top ranked candlepin bowler in New England during the late 70s and early 80s, traveling around New England to compete in many tournaments throughout the years, and also appeared on several televised tournaments as well. Ed loved his family more than anything else. He was a devoted son, a caring brother, and loving uncle always. Arrangements are by the Cartwright Funeral Home, Holbrook. Friends are welcome to attend Ed’s celebration of life which will be held on July 17th from 3pm to 5pm in the function room at the Brook Restaurant, 200 So. Franklin St, Holbrook, MA. Please wear a Boston sports jersey. To leave a sympathy message for the family, visit
