FAY, Paul W., of Rockland, formerly of Canton, passed away on May 31, 2021, after a period of failing health, at the age of 73. Born in Boston, Paul grew up in Canton and graduated from Canton High School. He then enlisted in the military and proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, during which time he earned several commendations including the National Service Defense Medal, the Aircraft Crewman Badge and the Sharpshooter Badge. Paul was an electrician and a proud member of Local #103. In his free time, Paul enjoyed gardening and cheering on his favorite Boston sports teams, especially the New England Patriots. A devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend, Paul will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have known him. Paul was the loving husband of Maria (Nilsen) Fay. Loving father of Sean Fay and his wife Candi of Henderson, NV and Mandi Touma and her husband Tony of Canton. Brother of Robert Fay of FL and the late Eleanor Burke, Jean Willhauck and Marilyn Frangioso. Cherished “Papa” to Hunter and Tristan Touma. At the request of the family, funeral services will be private. Burial in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
