CERULLO, Phyllis A. “Phyl” (Anastasio) of Holbrook, passed away peacefully holding the love of her life’s hand, on March 24, 2021, at the age of 64. Born in Chicopee, Phyl was educated in Holbrook schools, graduating from Holbrook High School Class of 1974. She furthered her education at the Brockton Beauty Academy. She worked for Landmark Window Fashions in Holbrook for many years before retirement. Phyl enjoyed spending time crocheting, especially when she made items for the Veterans Administration Association and dog coats for New Life for Paws Foundation in Aruba. She had a love for the Boston Red Sox and had a wonderful time attending games with her family. Phyl liked to play scratch tickets and take trips to Foxwoods. She was a kind and caring woman who will be sorely be missed by all who were blessed to have known her. Beloved wife of 39 years of Anthony Cerullo. Dear daughter of the late Anthony and Shirlee (Bratcher) Anastasio. Devoted sister of Lynn Wilson and her husband Leo of Holbrook. Caring “Auntie Phyl” of Jennifer Barba and her husband Louis of Franklin and Julie Bartorelli and her husband Gary of Hull. Cherished Great-Aunt of Cullen, Mason, Brannon, Justin, Matteo, Briggs, Kenzie and Kallista. Phyllis has the privilege of being the Godmother of her niece Julie and her great-nephew Briggs. Phyl is also survived by her lifelong friend of 58 years, Rosanne Carlo of Holbrook. She also leaves behind an Aunt Priscilla Martin of MA, Aunt Chrystal and Uncle Albert Beauregard of MD, Uncle Lyman Hitch of CA and many cousins. Phyl will be missed by her fur babies Milo and Honey Belle. In keeping with the Covid-19 guidelines, which include face coverings, social distancing and wait times in line due to temporary limited capacity, those attending will be asked to pay their respects and depart to allow the next guests to enter the funeral home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, April 1st from 4:00 – 8:00 PM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 South Franklin St., Holbrook. A private prayer ceremony will be held on Friday, April 2nd at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Phyl's name to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
