SINCLAIR, Patricia A. “Pat” (Shea), of Randolph, passed away after a brief illness on March 7, 2021, at the age of 79. Born in Boston, Pat grew up in Watertown and graduated from Watertown High School. Prior to her retirement, Pat worked as a special education teachers’ aide in the Randolph Public School system. An advocate for children with special needs, Pat was instrumental in starting the G.R.O.W. program in Randolph (Greater Randolph Occupational Workshop) and helped form the Special Education Law, Chapter 766. In her free time, she loved to sew and quilt. All of her children, grandchildren, and others received her handmade blankets. She also enjoyed traveling and camping. Pat made many friends in the camping community over the years. A devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, aunt and friend, Pat will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known her. Patricia was the beloved wife of the late Alexander “Buddy” Sinclair, III. Loving mother of Mark S. Sinclair of Randolph, Edward Sinclair and his wife Amy of Norwell, Alex Sinclair and his wife Paula of Avon and Jennifer Sinclair of So. Easton. Devoted sister of Lynda Shea-Vantine of Bridgeport, CT and the late Elizabeth Robinson and Eileen Wood. Daughter of the late Edward and Mary Shea. Cherished “Grammie” to Thomas and Owen Sinclair, Alex, Ryan, Shannon and Lauren Sinclair and Jocelyn and Haleigh Orlowski. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. In keeping with the Covid-19 guidelines, which include face coverings, social distancing and wait times in line due to temporary limited capacity, those attending will be asked to pay their respects and depart to allow the next guests to enter the funeral home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, March 14th from 3:00 – 7:00 PM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph. A private Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, March 15th in St. Michael Church, Avon. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Special Olympics Massachusetts, 512 Forest St, Marlborough, MA 01752 or a Charity of your choice.
