YUNDT, Lillian R. (Hoxie), lifelong resident of Randolph, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness on March 3, 2021, at the age of 95. Born in Boston, Lill grew up in Randolph and graduated from Randolph High School. She then went on to graduate from Bridgewater State College with her Bachelor’s Degree. She had worked as a Pre-School Assistant at the South Shore Daycare. Lill was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Randolph and Avon for many years. She was active in both the Girl Scouts and Cub Scouts in Randolph and volunteered her time to the Randolph Food Pantry. You could often find her working in the yard, gardening and from spring until winter, she would be relaxing by her fire pit in the back yard. Family and friends would always look forward to receiving her hand written letters and cards. A devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Lillian will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known her. Lillian was the wife of the late James Yundt. Loving mother of Judith Yundt of Randolph, William Yundt and his wife Michelle of Easton and James Yundt of Randolph. Devoted sister of Carol Harvey of FL and Myrtis Chatfield of Bourne. Dear “GG” to Christyn, William, Lucy, James and Amy and great grandmother to Katherine, Alaina, Landon, Jaxon, Shannon, Genevieve, Joshua, Jonah, Gemma and Zoey. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at a time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Avon Baptist Church, 119 N Main St, Avon, MA 02322.
