PARTELLO, Stephen N. “Steve”, of Stoughton, formerly of Boston and Randolph, has unexpectedly transitioned to the next life on February 6, 2021, at the age of 38. Born in Boston, Stephen attended the New Beginnings Academy in Boston where his athleticism was on display playing both youth hockey and youth baseball in Hyde Park. He then graduated from Blue Hills Regional Technical School in Canton, Class of 2001, where he was in the structural wood program. For the last 18 years, he has worked for the City of Boston as a School Police Officer. A practical jokester by nature, Stephen was beloved by all who had the pleasure of his company. A passionate sports fan, he could always be found rooting for his Boston Bruins, New England Patriots and the Red Sox, who he had the pleasure of seeing win the World Series in 2018 with his wife. Stephen was also a huge fan of the Clemson Tigers College football team. Stephen’s love of sports continued as an adult, playing semi-pro football for the Randolph Oilers and in the flag football league for the Warriors. He then transitioned to coaching for both the Randolph Pop Warner Football and the Boston Public School Football teams. Stephen was loyal to his NIKE’s and was considered a huge “sneaker head”, amassing an impressive collection of sneakers over the years. A devoted husband, son, son-in-law, brother-in-law, godfather, nephew, cousin and friend, Stephen will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have known him. Stephen is survived by his beloved wife, Reneitia (Romain) Partello. Dear son of Angela (Ruggerio) Partello and the late Kenneth Partello of Randolph. Son-In-Law of Lurgie Romain of Boston and Thomas D. Johnson of Michigan. Brother-In-Law of Ahnyx, Jowan and Aujah all of Boston. Grandson-In-Law of Marie Romain of Boston. God father of Ava Alexis. Also survived by his beloved dog “Vinny” and a host aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. In keeping with the Covid-19 guidelines, which include face coverings, social distancing and wait times in line due to temporary limited capacity, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visitation period on Saturday, February 20th from 7:30 – 9:30 AM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St (Rt. 28), Randolph. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth Church, 350 Reedsdale Rd, Milton, limited to the first 125 people.
