WESCOTT, Fred R., of Middleboro, formerly of Randolph, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on December 22, 2020, at the age of 72. Born in Brockton, Fred grew up in Randolph and graduated from Randolph High School. He later went on to attend Massasoit College. Prior to his retirement, Fred worked as an accountant for Childrenís Hospital in Boston for over 20 years. In his free time Fred enjoyed camping and spending time with his family. He was also an active board member of the Anchor House in Plymouth, however, his greatest passion was following all the activities of his beloved grandchildren. A devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, Fred will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have known him. Fred was the husband of the late Ann (Perella) Wescott. Loving father of Eric Wescott and his loving companion Alison Ramsay of Middleboro and the late Jennifer (Wescott) Cloonan and her husband Scott Cloonan of Stoughton. Devoted brother of Janice DeFelice and her late husband Daniel of Middleboro, Ardith Brown and her husband Gary of Assonet, Deborah Kent and her husband Roger of E. Bridgewater and Michael Wescott and his wife Shirleen of NH. Dear grandfather to Cameron, Brieann, Anthony, Madison and Kennedy and great grandfather to Lilah. Also survived by his dear friend Joseph of Holbrook and many nieces, nephews and friends. Due to Covid-19, Funeral Services will be private and a Celebration of Fredís Life will be held at a time to be announced. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Old Colony Hospice, 321 Manley St, West Bridgewater, MA 02379.
