JONES, JONES, Edna M., of Hyde Park, MA. formerly of North Carolina passed away on December 6, 2020, at the age of 84. Edna was born in Pikesville, North Carolina to the late Eugene Sears and Lucinda (Jones) Wilds. At a young age, the family moved to Wilmington, North Carolina, where Edna and her brother Albert attended school. Edna met her first love Albert Norman while they both were seniors at Williston High. After graduation, Albert Norman joined the United States Air Force; meanwhile, Edna and the family moved to Boston where she worked at Sears and Roebuck as a data entry clerk for many years. Edna enjoyed cooking, especially fish and chicken. She liked to watch the Home Shopping network, as well as her soap operas… The Young and the Restless and General Hospital. Edna also liked to read cookbooks and readers digest. She loved spending time with the family. After several years, Edna returned to Wilmington, North Carolina. Soon after, she and Albert Norman reconnected and they got married and spent their best years together. After the death of her late husband, Albert she returned to Boston. Edna was a kind and quiet person who was full of Love. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, sister and friend. She will be sorely missed. Edna leaves behind to mourn her five children, Barbara Jones of New York, Curtis Jones Sr. of Lithonia, GA, Reginald Jones of Salt Lake City, UT, Linda Jones of Randolph, MA, Beverly Jones-Davis of Stoughton, MA. her sixth child Cynthia Jones preceded her in death at a young age and her brother Albert (Al) Williams and his wife Chieko of Randolph MA. Niece Melissa Williams-Houston, her nephew Anthony Williams, She has an additional niece Donna Williams and nephews Kent Williams, Albert Williams Jr, Michael Williams, and Gary Williams. The cherished grandmother of Jerry (Jaro) Rudder, JahJah Rudder, Albert Rudder, Curtesha M Gooding, Markia C Gooding, Curtis A Jones Jr., Javon I Jones, Tyrik E Jones, Kami Williams-Jonas, Thomas J Williams Sr., Shawanda Jones, Shantae Civil, Shekia Thompson, Steven Golden and Chanice Matlock and 16 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. In keeping with the Covid-19 guidelines, which include face coverings, social distancing and wait times in line due to temporary limited capacity, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, December 15th from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 North Main St., Randolph immediately followed by a private Funeral Service at 12:00 PM in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Jamaica Plain. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Edna’s name to the American Cancer Society,
