ABOUZEID, Margo, of Holbrook, loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 13, 2020, at the age of 77. Born in the ancient picturesque village of El Qaa, Lebanon and raised in Beirut, she was the daughter of merchant Salim Tarraf Bittar and Ouedad el Mur, of Aimogasta La Rioja Argentina. Margo immigrated to Argentina and then to the United States and began a long and successful career as a small business owner with her husband, Antoine Abouzeid who predeceased her, owning Holbrook Upholstery in Holbrook Center and Custom Interiors in Randolph for almost 40 years. Past clients of Holbrook Upholstery would often have the opportunity to view and select fabrics in Margo's showroom while she was busy sewing fabrics for furniture and drapes. Most importantly, Margo raised her family alongside her husband Antoine and was the matriarch of her family. She brought her children up in the Maronite Catholic faith and instilled in them a deep love for family, God, his saints, and especially Saint Charbel and his church. Margo leaves behind three children Grace Marie Abouzeid of Weymouth, Elie Antoine Abouzeid, Esq and his wife Rasa of Duxbury, Margo Odette Abouzeid of Holbrook. Devoted sister to Elias Bittar of Aimogasta, La Rioja Argentina and Mouna Bitar of Cordoba, Argentina. “Teta”/”Seto” Grandmother of Bahige Antoine Bitar, Marcia Loren Ikhariale, Marcia's husband Michael, Tatyana Marie Tudor, Marc-Alexander Tudor, Odette Dalute Abouzeid, Emile Elie Abouzeid, Odile Marie Abouzeid, Elie Joseph Abouzeid Jr., Georges Antoine Abouzeid. Great grandmother of Sophie Ikhariale. A graveside memorial service and burial will be held at the Mayflower Cemetery, Duxbury on Thursday, November 19th.
