CAIRNS, Natalie M. (MacWilliams), of Abington, formerly of Holbrook, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on November 9, 2020, at the age of 80. Born in Quincy, Natalie grew up in Holbrook and graduated from Holbrook High School, Class of 1958. She had lived in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma for many years where she was an active member of the Red Hat Society there and volunteered extensive hours to the Broken Arrow Police Department. Natalie was very honored to be awarded with the President’s Volunteer Service Award which recognizes the most outstanding volunteers in the country and the impact they make. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening and traveling. A devoted mother, sister, aunt and friend, Natalie will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known her. Natalie was the loving mother of Stephen Cairns and his husband Paul Moriconi of Naples, FL. Daughter of the late Leslie Oliver MacWilliams and Frances (Barry) MacWilliams. Devoted sister to the late Leslie “Nicki” (MacWilliams) Anderson, and her late twin brother Barry MacWilliams. Sister-in-law to Emily MacWilliams of Holbrook. Dear aunt of Patricia (MacWilliams) Stoner, Jeanne Anderson, Barry MacWilliams, Jr., Joanie Anderson, Christine (MacWilliams) Fastabend, Robert MacWilliams and the late James Anderson. Great aunt of Jessica-Lee Murphy, Erica Leslie Nicole Murphy, Cassandra Fastabend, Jonathan Fastabend, Katelyn Abbott, Nicole Abbott, Mathew Stoner, Kimberly Stoner and Amanda McCarthy. In keeping with the Covid-19 guidelines, which include face coverings, social distancing and wait times in line due to temporary limited capacity, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period on Monday, November 16th from 8:30 – 10:00 AM at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 So. Franklin St. (RT. 37), Holbrook. A private Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph Church, Holbrook. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Natalie’s memory to the Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 51 Blossom St., Boston, MA 02114.
