Gunnar worked as a graphic designer for many years. He was a talented musician and singer who loved playing the guitar and performing, especially at the Avon Baptist Church, where he was a long-time member. He liked to play tennis, go fishing, and ride his bike and motorcycle. Gunnar and Sandie spent many wonderful days skiing with the Silver Streaks Ski Group at Waterville Valley, NH.
Gunnar was a true renaissance man. He could fix and build anything, including the three home additions he and Sandie built together. Gunnar invented things: a device to make water skiing easier; a better pool filter, created with his brother, Al; his own version of the ride-on mower, a push mower attached to the back of a mini-bike; a new musical instrument, invented with his friend, John. He spent many happy hours tending his garden. And he shared his knowledge of all he loved with anyone who wanted to be part of the fun.
Gunnar gave hugs so hard you couldnít breathe. He will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have known him.
