IBILI, Francis U. of Randolph, formerly of Nigeria, passed away unexpectedly on October 1, 2020 at the age of 66. Francis was born in Lagos, Nigeria before moving to the United States. He was a proud Nigerian-American who loved his community. Francis has a passion for school and learning. He earned two Bachelorís Degrees from Salem State University and Boston University, as well as earning his Masterís Degree from Framingham State University. Francis was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Castle 123. He was a man of strong faith, devoted to his parish at St. Katharine Drexel and the Nigerian Catholic Community. Francis found joy and happiness in spending time with his family. He was the definition of family man. Francis was loved and adored by so many, he will sorely be missed. Beloved husband of Obiageli (Anyaoku) Ibili. Loving father of Chi-Chi Ibili, Chuka Ibili and Onyeka Ibili, all of Randolph. Dear son of the late Paul and Henrietta (Arit) Ibili. Devoted brother of Ndubuisi Ibili, Franca Ibili, Dorothy Ibili, Ifejika Ibili, Muyina Ibili, Kemi Ibili, Yinka Ibili and the late Tina Ibili. Francis is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. In keeping with the Covid-19 guidelines, which include face coverings, social distancing and wait times in line due to temporary limited capacity, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, November 5th from 4:00 Ė 9:00 PM at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 North Main St., Randolph. A private Funeral Mass will be held Friday, November 6th in the Cathedral of the Holy Cross, 1400 Washington Street, Boston. Burial will follow in the Gardens of Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury.
