MUNN, William W., of Holbrook, formerly of Quincy, passed away unexpectedly on October 16, 2020, at the age of 84. Born in Quincy to the late Alice (Short) and John Munn. Bill was raised and educated in Quincy before later moving to Holbrook in 1977. He was a veteran who proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. Bill was an extremely hard-working man who did whatever he needed so that he may provide for his family. He was a simple man who had a love for Elvis. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren grow. He was a funny man who loved to make people laugh and smile by always cracking jokes and doing something silly. Bill was a kind and caring man who will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have known him. Beloved husband of the late Rita (McSweeney) Munn. Loving father of John Munn of Holbrook, Kristen Munn of Holbrook and Amy Munn and her husband Shawn Bates of Holbrook. Step-Father of Denise Toner and Gary Toner. Devoted brother of Alice Jean Renner and her husband Jim of FL and the late Marilyn Ojala and Jack Munn. Caring grandfather of Vanessa Munn, Patrick Bent, Alyssa Bent, Debbie Bent and Zachary Bent. Cherished great-grandfather of Brandon Munn and Kaitlyn Whiting. Bill is also survived by many nieces and nephews and friends. In keeping with the Covid-19 guidelines, which include face coverings, social distancing and wait times in line due to temporary limited capacity, memorial visiting hours will be held on Saturday, November 14th 2020, from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 S. Franklin St. (RT. 37), Holbrook followed by a private Memorial Service.
