FORD, Patricia A. “Patty” (Clancy), of Avon, formerly of Holbrook, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2020, surrounded by her loving family, at the age of 66. Born in Cambridge, Patty grew up in Holbrook and graduated from Holbrook High School, Class of 1972. She continued her education at Burdette College, earning her associate degree. Patty worked for many years as a legal assistant for a law firm as well as a hairdresser. In her free time, she enjoyed flowers and gardening and was a passionate advocate for children, animals, and nature, however, spending time with her family and grandson is what brought her the most joy. A devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, Patty will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have known her. Patty was the beloved wife of Steven Ford. Loving mother of Erin Ford and Jesse Ford both of Avon. Sister of Thomas Clancy of MA. Cherished “Mamma” to Reagan Ford – Barros. Daughter of the late Henry and Marie (Foley) Clancy. Also survived by many cousins and dear friends. In keeping with the Covid-19 guidelines, which include face coverings, social distancing and wait times in line due to temporary limited capacity, relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Sunday, July 19th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 So. Franklin St. (RT. 37), Holbrook. A private Funeral Mass for the family will be celebrated at St. Joseph Church, Holbrook and burial will be private.
