MATHE, Marjorie

On Friday June 12th, 2020, Jacqueline Marjorie Irva Isidore Mathe, loving wife & mother of 2 daughters, passed away at age 53.

Marjorie, Majo, Jorie, or Jojo, as she was affectionately called by loved ones, was born on July 25th,1966 in Cap-Haiten, Haiti to Melanie Vincent Isidore and Clebert Isidore. At the tender age of 5, Marjorie tragically lost her mother and went to live with other relatives. In 1985, her eldest sister sent for her in Haiti to come and live with her in America. She resided in Boston for some years before moving with her family to New Jersey. However, it wasn't before she would meet a young man that would become the love of her life and father of her children, Romel Mathe. The young couple maintained a long distance & romantic relationship for years before deciding to get married in 1989. In 1990 they welcomed their first blessing of a baby, Bianca. A little under a year after Bianca's birth, Marjorie moved back to Boston with Romel and their new baby to continue building their lives. A few years later in 1996, the young couple welcomed their second bundle of joy, Rohmee. Throughout her life Marjorie loved helping people. Marjorie had a special light that caused people to automatically navigate towards her. Marjorie's children were her world and any child that walked through her door was treated her own. A gifted homemaker, fierce mother, loving wife and ultimate giver, Marjorie took so much joy in blessing others. Considered the hospitality maven in the family, there was no event big or small that she couldn't handle with grace and class. The family's biggest get-togethers usually took place at her home, as everyone knew wherever Marjorie was laughter and good times followed. Her gift for making others feel good with her amazing food, contagious laugh and friendly spirit will go unmatched for years to come. Marjorie is survived by her adoring husband Romel and 2 loving daughters, Bianca and Rohmee. She is also survived by her siblings, Jovette Vincent, Marc Vincent, Joseph Claude Alexandre, Lourdes Fulvy Isidore Kampmann, Marie E. Isidore and Marlene Cherefant Isidore.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 19, 2020 at 11:00 AM in St. Mary Cemetery, 245 North Street, Randolph.
