ALCANTARA, Adolfo “Tuco”, of Randolph, formerly of Jamaica Plain and Guatemala, passed away peacefully on May 30, 2020, surrounded by his loving family, at the age of 73. Born and raised in Guatemala City, Guatemala, Adolfo immigrated to the United States and began his life here in America. He worked for 30 years at the MBTA as a repairman. When not working, he enjoyed sports. He started and coached in the Jamaica Plain Soccer League for many years. He was an avid New England Patriots and Soccer fan and he enjoyed watching tv. A devoted husband, Father, brother, grandfather and friend, Adolfo will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known him. Adolfo was the beloved husband of Ligia Alcantara. Loving father of Antonio Alcantara, Aminda Alcantara, Misael Alcantara and Jenny Alcantara. Devoted brother of Mirium Hernandez and Aminda Monteagudo. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
