LIVORSI, Lillian (Trainor), of Holbrook, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on March 9, 2020, at the age of 90. Born and raised in Dorchester and Great Hill in Hough’s Neck, Lillian graduated from St. Patrick's High School in Roxbury, MA. She worked many years at Boston Edison during which time she was a member of the Boston Catholic Theatre. There she participated in many performances in and around the New England area. Lillian also worked for the Holbrook Police Department as a Crossing Guard and Police Matron for more than 10 years. Lillian was a devoted Catholic and member of St. Joseph's Church for more than 62 years and the Josepheen’s for more than 30 years. During this time she was a Eucharist Minister at Brockton Hospital and would visit local home bound parishioners. Lillian also participated and volunteered at My Brother’s Keeper during their many Retreats, Ultreya's and Holiday out-reach. She loved to travel with her church groups, visiting the Holy Land, Italy, Ireland and cruising thru the Mediterranean. Beloved wife of the late Mario Livorsi and Loving Mother of Carl Livorsi and his wife Ilda of Lakeville, John Livorsi and his wife Patty of Westford, Judy Whelan of Holbrook, Donna Brothers and husband Paul of Hanson and Lisa DePillo and her husband Patrick of Holbrook and the late William Livorsi of Maine. Devoted sister of the late Francis and John Trainor of Quincy, Edward Trainor of Ashland, Anna (Rere) Trainor of Holbrook and William Trainor of Oxford. Loving Nana to many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family and friends will honor and remember Lillian with a wake on Thursday, March 12, 2020 from 4:00 – 8:00PM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 S. Franklin Street, Holbrook. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated on Friday, March 13, 2020 at 10:30 AM in St. Joseph’s Church 153 S. Franklin St. Holbrook, MA. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery, Holbrook. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph's Church, c/o Fr. Tom Boudreau, 153 South Franklin St. Holbrook, MA 02343 in Lillian's memory.
