BLANEY, Christopher M. “Blaney”, of Sharon, formerly of Randolph, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on February 21, 2020, after a courageous battle with colon cancer, at the age of 43. Born in Weymouth, Chris grew up in Randolph and graduated from Randolph High School, Class of 1994. He then went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts, Class of 1998, where he was president of his fraternity, Alpha Chi Rho. Chris worked as a commercial property manager, most recently for Keypoint Partners in Burlington. He was also a member of B.O.M.A. (Building Owners & Managers Association). Growing up in Randolph, Chris played baseball in Randolph Little League and was a Boy Scout. An avid sports fan, he could often be found cheering on his favorite Boston sports teams. As his children became active in youth sports, Chris became involved in coaching for Sharon Little League and Basketball. He had a great sense of humor and was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and friend, who will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to have known him. Chris is survived by his beloved wife, Tracey (Roberts) Blaney. Loving father of Connor Blaney, Patrick Blaney and Clare Blaney, all of Sharon. Dear son of Jack and Judy (Grillo) Blaney of FL. Devoted brother of Kerry Olson and her husband Tom of Andover. Son-in-law of Linda and Mike Roberts of NY and brother-in-law of Kelly and Greg Melita of NY. Cherished uncle of Marissa and Kyle Olson and Michael and Madelyn Melita. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, February 25th from 4:00 – 8:00 PM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 26th at 10:30 AM in St. Mary Church, 211 No. Main St., Randolph. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph.
