COUGHLIN, Margaret L. “Peg” (King), of Randolph, formerly of So. Boston, passed away peacefully, after a brief illness and a wonderful life on February 9, 2020, at the age of 91. Born and raised in Boston, Peggy graduated from St. Augustin’s High School in So. Boston. For many years she worked as the Assistant Tax Collector for the Town of Randolph. Peggy was a devout catholic and was an active member of St. Bernadette Church in Randolph for over 60 years and she volunteered her time and talents at the Church Thrift Shop, taught CCD classes and supported many Church sponsored events. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, Peggy will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known her. Peg was the wife of the late Robert J. “Bob” Coughlin. Loving mother of Robert J. Coughlin, Jr. of FL, Richard S. Coughlin of Salisbury, Joseph M. Coughlin of CA and Paul J. Coughlin of ME. Sister of the late Mary King, Thomas King, Jr. and Anne Berry. Devoted “Nana” to Erin Hart, Meaghan Coughlin, Ryan Coughlin, Gina Coughlin and Laura Coughlin and “Great Nana” to Caroline and Charlie Hart. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, February 13th from 5:00 – 8:00 PM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (RT. 28), Randolph. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, February 14th at 10:30 AM in St. Bernadette Church, 1031 No. Main St., Randolph. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, Randolph.
