MILLWOOD, Carleen M. “April” “Woody” (Grant), of Randolph, formerly of the Bronx, NY, passed away unexpectedly on November 27, 2019, at the age of 59. Born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, where she graduated from high school and received her Associate’s Degree from the Bronx Community College. For 24 years, she worked for the D.E.P. in New York City as an Accounts Receivable representative. Carleen also had 30 years of service with Avon Cosmetics, Fashions, and Accessories, where she was a top selling representative and a member of their President’s Club. She was a devout Christian, who was actively involved in churches between Jamaica and the United States namely, Beulah Pentecostal Church in Kingston Jamaica, and Praise Temple in N.Y. She held many offices to include being an ordained Evangelist, Sunday School Teacher, Youth Leader, and Intercessor.

Carleen was a strong-willed woman who raised her seven boys with her same values and she will be sorely missed by all those who were blessed to have known her. Carleen was the beloved daughter of Leathy Grant, and wife of Samuel Millwood. She is also the loving mother of Recardo Millwood and his wife Winnifred Millwood, Jermaine Millwood and his wife Lisa Millwood, Robert Millwood, Brian Millwood and his wife Tashelle Millwood, Odane Millwood, Norman Millwood, and David Millwood. Carleen is sister to Michael Brown. Cherished grandmother to Tia Millwood, Anthony Millwood, Recael Millwood, Arielle Millwood, Joseph Millwood, Sarai Millwood, Amaris Millwood, Maliah Millwood, Ann-Marie Millwood and Noah Millwood.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period on Monday, December 2, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 Noon in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 69 So. Franklin St. (Rt. 37), Holbrook. A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Central Cemetery in Randolph. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Elks Lodge at 2:00-6:00 PM, which is located at 21 School St, Randolph, MA.
