GREEN, George A., was born in Thomaston, GA to Gertrude and Shep Ellis-Green on May 1st, 1939. He attended school in Upson County, GA and learned auto mechanic as a trade. Several years later he met and married, Barbara White. This union welcomed five children, Tammy Green (Thomaston, GA) Rance Green (Boston, MA), Eric Green (Boston, MA). Preceded in death, Victor Green (Thomaston, GA), Keith Green (Thomaston, GA) and Adrian Green (Thomaston, GA).

George had two previous sons, Jerome Green (Detroit, MI) and Dexter Brazer (Thomaston, GA).

George relocated to Boston, MA in 1966, where he worked at BF Goodrich Company and then, decided to become an entrepreneur, but not before marrying Stella Lambert on April 15, 1967. This union welcomed two children, Wendell Lerone Green (deceased) and Marian Green-Robinson (Randolph, MA). George push forward with his dreams and opened George & Sons Auto Repair. After many years of owning his own business, George moved on to a new role with Pine Manor College, as their lead mechanic and landscaper until he retired in 2014. He enjoyed spending his time fishing, hunting and playing cards with family and friends, until he became ill in 2016. After more than two years in Care One Nursing Home, George succumbed to his illness peacefully in Seasons Hospice Care, Milton, MA.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period on Wednesday, October 9th, from 10:00 11:00 AM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (Rt. 28), Randolph, immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 11:00 AM in the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Boston.
