GRAYDEN, Robert (aka: “Bob”, “Peepers”, ”Gray eyes”), formerly of Dorchester and Randolph, passed away peacefully on April 16, 2019 at the age of 73. Beloved husband of Joan E. (Griffin) Grayden. Devoted brother of Walter F. Grayden, Jr. and his wife Joanne. Loving father of David and Debra. Cherished father-in-law to Marc and Analia. Doting grandfather of River Grayden and Milla Morrone as well as patient sitter of furry family members Lola and Chewie. Bob was born in Boston, graduated from Boston English High School and received his Bachelor’s in Business from Suffolk University. A man of few words but sharp of mind and wit so what few words he said always mattered. Over the years as his vision declined, he was often found with his radio by his side listening to the Sox, the Pats or his all-time favorite, Howie Carr. As a family man and life-long friend to the “peeps” in the 306 Club, he was surrounded by many that loved his kindness, appreciated his dry humor and remember the smiles he shared with them all; he will be missed. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Service on Friday, April 26th at 11:00 AM in the Forsyth Chapel in Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to www.neads.org (a local non-profit that trains guide dogs and service animals).
