PARKER, Giles B. “Jake”, IV, lifelong resident of Braintree, passed away unexpectedly on April 7, 2019, at the young age of 14. Born in Boston, Jake grew up in Braintree and was an 8th grade Honor Roll student at East Middle School. Jake had many interests including traveling, geography, architecture, eating out and Marvel superhero movies. However, one of his greatest passions was sports. He played baseball in the Braintree American Challenger League, and when not at a ballfield or basketball court cheering on his younger brother, he would be rooting for all of the Boston sports teams. Jake was also a rabid Clemson Tigers fan, and traveled to Florida with his family to see them win the College Football National Championship. A loving son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend, Jake will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known him. Jake was the beloved son of Giles and Michelle (Lesko) Parker. Devoted brother of Calvin Parker. Grandson of Giles and Vera Parker of Braintree, and Leonard and Mary Lesko of St. Paul, Minnesota. Also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Thursday, April 11th from 2:30 – 7:30 PM in the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., Braintree. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 12th at 10:30 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree. Burial will be private.
