BROWNELL, Donna Anne of Weymouth, formerly of Holbrook, passed away December 27, 2018 after a long illness. She grew up in Holbrook and graduated from Holbrook High School Class of 1978. She attended Aquinas College and then served four years in the U.S. Air Force. She was most proud of her military service as a Flight Attendant and the experiences it gave her. While stationed in Germany, she was able to travel throughout Europe, Africa, Egypt. Donna loved cooking and taking care of others. After the Air Force she worked as an event caterer and then went back to school to learn muscular therapy. She was a self employed muscular therapist for over twenty five years. Donna had a spontaneous, fun loving personality. She enjoyed traveling, skiing, biking, boating and swimming. Her happy place was the beach. She loved being with people, laughing and enjoying life. Donna loved her family most of all and they loved her. She left us way too soon at the age of 58 and will be deeply missed. Dear daughter of Phyllis A. (LeVangie) Brownell of Braintree and the late Donald Brownell. Devoted sister of Rhonda Keeler and her husband William of Niceville, FL, Charles Brownell and his wife Patricia of Navarre, FL, Leon Brownell and his partner Linda DiPasquale of Rockland and Leslie Minassian and her husband Ronnie of Hingham. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 68 So. Franklin St. Holbrook. Funeral Service on Thursday at 1:30 PM in the Funeral Home. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Wednesday 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
