FRITZ, Laurie J. (Brummett) of Brockton, formerly of E. Bridgewater, passed away unexpectedly on November 5th, 2018 at the age of 51. Born in Brockton, Laurie was raised in Holbrook where she graduated from Holbrook High School in 1985. She then continued to further her education in nursing, completing her LPN from Southeastern Regional School of Nursing in 2011. Laurie dedicated her life to taking care of others from all walks of life, and worked for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for many years. Laurie’s favorite past times depended on the season, as holidays and traditions held a special place in her heart. Her most cherished times were those spent with family and friends. Her artistic abilities and crafting skills did not go unnoticed as she always had a new project (or projects) she was working on. More recently Laurie became an avid sports fan. She was a caring and compassionate woman who’s smile could light up a room. A devoted wife, loving mother, daughter, and caring friend; Laurie will be missed greatly by all those who were blessed to have known her. Laurie was the beloved wife of Steven Fritz and loving mother of Alex Talpey, Alayna (Talpey) Monahan and her Husband Joseph Monahan of East Bridgewater, as well as Kyle, Adam, and Alex Fritz of Brockton. She was the dear daughter of Robert Brummett and late Linda Brummett of Holbrook, MA, and sister of David Brummett of Weymouth, MA. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period on November 14th, 2018 from 4 PM to 7 PM in the Cartwright funeral home, 69 South Franklin St. (Rt 37) Holbrook, MA. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation, P.O.
