ZOPATTI, Frank M. “Zip”, of Braintree, formerly of Roxbury, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on October 26, 2018, at the age of 88. Born in Boston, Frank grew up in Roxbury and graduated from Roxbury Memorial High School. He later went on to earn his Teachers Certificate from Fitchburg State University. Frank was retired as the Graphic Arts Teacher at Blue Hills Regional High School in Canton, where he taught for many years. In his free time, Frank and his wife Mary were avid Ballroom Dancers. He enjoyed cheering on all the Boston sports teams and he was an usher at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Braintree for many years. A devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather, Frank will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known him. Frank was the beloved husband of Mary (Bouley) Zopatti. Loving father of Mary Ann Patterson and her loving companion Alexei Beratis of Boston, Michele Auditore of Braintree, Peter Zopatti and his wife Lisa of Rockport and the late Paul David Zopatti. Brother of the late Benvenuta Crespi, Olympio Zopatti and Tina Johnson. Dear “Yaya” to Jim, Joe, Jacqueline, Sofia and Paul. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period on Friday, November 2nd from 10:00 AM – 12:00 Noon, in the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., Braintree. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12:30 PM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
