ADAMS, Donald B. of Middleboro formerly of Randolph passed away September 18, 2018 at the age of 89. Born in Nova Scotia, Canada, he grew up in Randolph where he attended Stetson High School and also Boston Trade School. He then went on to serve in the US Navy at the end of WWII. He was a builder and developer for over 60 years. During the mid-70’s he had worked in Fairbanks, Alaska. Don was a charter member of the Randolph Lodge of Elks, #2130, a member of Randolph Amvets Post 51. He loved skiing, snowmobiling and he was an enthusiastic golfer. He was also an avid Red Sox, Patriots and Celtics fan. While he loved spending time with his family and friends, his greatest joy was digging holes and knocking down trees with his backhoe. He loved his work and he worked right until the end of his life. Son of the late Edward E. and Lucy R. (Tatry) Adams. Beloved husband of Marie (MacKay) Windsor of Middleboro. Loving father of Donald E. Adams of Randolph, Edward E. Adams of Port St. Lucie, FL, Michelle Adams of Randolph, Peter Adams of Fairbanks AK and the late Dennis Adams. Also survived by his wife Marie’s children Michelle Windsor of ME., Karen Windsor of Rockland and William R. Windsor of Middleboro. Devoted brother of Wilbert “Will” Adams of Randolph, the late Bernice Gudinas, and the late Lillian Greenlund. Also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and former husband of Helen (Finegan) Adams of Randolph. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 N. Main St., Randolph MA 02368, Saturday morning from 9:00 to 11:30 AM immediately followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM. Burial will follow in Central Cemetery, Randolph MA. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his name to the charity of your choice.
