BOOTH-LOVELL, Sandra J. “Sandie” (Rocci), of Braintree, formerly of Dorchester, passed away unexpectedly on August 20, 2018, at the age of 64. Born and raised in Dorchester, Sandie graduated from the Boston Trade School for Girls in Roxbury. She also attended Massasoit Community College. She was an Honorably Disharged Veteran who served in the Womens Corps during the Vietnam War where she earned the National Defense Service Medal. She has worked as a florist for several years, beginning at the Neponset Florist, Charlie White’s Florist and most recently she had been working for the last 4 years at Barry’s Flower Shop in So. Braintree. In her free time, Sandie loved spending time with her 2 grandsons. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Sandie will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known her. Sandie was the loving mother and best friend of Rachel Booth and her late husband Timothy Snedecor of Braintree. Devoted sister of Janet Knoll of Saugus, Larry Rocci, Sr. of Cape Cod and the late Allan Rocci. Beloved “GaGa” to Michael Booth and Reilly Booth. Dear friend of Vincent Sacchetti of Braintree and Co-worker of Lynne Kurlansky of Barry’s Flower Shop in Braintree. Former wife of Peter Lovell of Rockland. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a visitation period on Friday, August 24th from 4:00 – 6:00 PM in the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home, 845 Washington St., Braintree. A Funeral Service will follow at 6:00 PM in the Funeral Home. Burial will be private. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in Sandra’s name to the Autism Speaks, 85 Devonshire St., 9th Floor, Boston, MA 02109.
