BROWN, George F., of Randolph, formerly of Hanson, passed away unexpectedly on July 17, 2018, at the age of 76. Born in Boston, George proudly served his country in the United States ARMY during the Vietnam War where he received several decorations, including the Good Conduct Medal and the Expert Rifle M-1 Medal. He worked as an auto mechanic for many years before his retirement. In his free time, he enjoyed the mechanics of working and building cars and classic cars, however, spending time with his family and friends is what brought him the most enjoyment. A devoted father, brother and grandfather; George will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known him. George was the loving father of Cheryl Stalker, John Brown and step-father of Brenda Kaszanek all of Hanson. Devoted brother of Richard Brown of Randolph and the late Edmund Brown and Marion Coleman. Dear “Papa’ to Janel Oleson, Hayleigh Fornaciari and Alexa Brown. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, July 24th from 4:00 – 7:00 PM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (RT 28) Randolph. A Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 PM in the Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at a later date.
