YAHIAOUI, Mohamed, age 74, of Randolph, formerly of Brockton, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2018 after a long illness. He leaves his wife of 45 years, Catherine Friedland Yahiaoui, his son, Eric and his wife, Tina, his daughter, Linda, his grandchildren, Emma and Evan, his brother-in-law, Stephen and his wife, Eileen. Also, he leaves 2 sisters and a brother in Algeria, Rebiha, Djamila and Mohand, a brother in France, Abdallah. His brothers, Hocine and Hamanon preceded him in death. He also leaves several nieces and nephews here and in France and Algeria. Mohamed recently became a citizen of the US, of which he was very proud. He retired from Avon Custom Mixing several years ago. He volunteered at the LIFE Center of Brockton after his retirement. He was an avid hockey and football fan and he loved western movies and TV shows. Most days he would go walking in DW Field Park in Brockton and Avon. His favorite thing to do was visiting with his beloved grandchildren. A wake and memorial service will be held at the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St., Randolph on Wednesday July 25, 2018 11 am to 1 pm. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers.
