GORDON, Brandon Anthony, of Randolph, MA, passed away suddenly, at age 22, on Sunday, July 8, 2018. Brandon is predeceased by his mother, Patricia A. Foy. He is survived by his sister Jessica Braveman, of Stoneham, MA; his father Noel Gordon and Noelís wife Amy, of West Roxbury, MA; as well as many beloved family members and close friends who were his chosen family. As a young child, Brandon lived in Negril, Jamaica where his larger-than-life personality and big smile captivated everyone who knew him. After taking his first flight to the United States, he spent his youth growing up in Foxboro and Randolph. From a young age, he loved playing all sports. Brandon spent much of his childhood playing basketball, Little League baseball and later joined both the lacrosse and football teams at his high school. He was an avid sports fan, never missing a Patriots game and often cheering on the Celtics and Red Sox in Boston. While attending high school at Blue Hills Regional Technical School, in Canton, Brandon was one of the lead running backs on the Warriors football team. He was proud beyond measure to be part of the Warriors team. Off the field, Brandon specialized in metal fabrication where he learned to create things with his hands, and as he mastered the skill, he grew to love it. Brandon spent much of his young adult life visiting his birthplace: the sandy beaches of Jamaica. His Jamaican roots instilled in him a love of good food, cooking, music and an appreciation for style. Anyone who knew Brandon will never forget his fashionable clothes and impeccable sneaker and hat collection; he loved them dearly. He will be remembered most for his charismatic spirit, bright smile, his infectious laugh and the warmth felt when he hugged you. All who knew him will miss him greatly; may his spirit live on in our memories. Memorial services will be held on Monday, July 16th, 2018 from 5pm-7pm at Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 North Main Street, Randolph, MA, Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to the following collection as a donation to his high school, in Brandonís memory.
