MARDEN, Jason E., of Randolph, formerly of Revere, passed away unexpectedly on July 6, 2018, at the age of 35. Born in Boston, Jason grew up in Revere and graduated from Revere High School. He then attended Piedmont Central College in No. Carolina. Jason enlisted in the United States Army, serving during Operation Enduring Freedom with the 101st Airborne Assault Unit Rakkasans. During his time in the Army, Jason received citations, including the Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal and the Army Service Ribbon. In his free time, Jason had a passion for his truck, going to the beach or just being at the ocean, the Dominican Republic and he was an avid fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Celtics. A devoted father, son, brother and friend, Jason will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have known him. Jason was the loving father of Jordan Evans Marden of Randolph. Beloved son of Kathleen Marden-Guerrero and Rafael Guerrero of Randolph. Devoted brother of Alfred Putney of NH and Yeraldy Pimintel of Randolph. Dear grandson of Luz Pimintel of Dominican Republic. Also survived by his “Brother-in-Arms” Richard Lewis of Chicago, IL and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and his military friends he served with in the military. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 3:00 – 6:00 PM in the Cartwright Funeral Home, 419 No. Main St. (RT. 28), Randolph. A funeral procession will leave the funeral home on Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 9:30 AM for a graveside service at 11:00 AM in the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in Jason’s name to New England Center and Home for Veterans, 17 Court Street, Boston MA 02108.
